Quick answer

Grover Work gives every job a private customer page, opened from a link with no account or password. Customers read the estimate and approve it, see the photos and updates you choose to share, pay invoices, and follow the crew when you tell them you are on the way.

Fewer calls, faster yeses

Customers call because they do not know what is happening. Where are you, did the invoice go out, what did the finished work look like. A page that answers those questions saves both sides the phone tag.

It also helps close the work. The customer who can approve the estimate and pay the invoice from the same page does not have to hunt for an email.

How it works

  1. Create the job

From an estimate or from scratch.

  2. Send the private link

The customer opens it on any phone or computer.

  3. Share updates and photos

You decide what the customer sees.

  4. Approve and pay in one place

The same page handles the estimate and the invoices.

What customers see

The estimate and approval

They read the proposal and approve it with a typed signature, recorded with the time and device details.

Photos and updates you choose to share

Job photos are private until you share them. Shared photos can be grouped by stage, such as before, in progress and after, with notes alongside.

Invoices and payment

Each invoice carries a card or bank payment link, and the customer's payment history sits on the same page.

On-my-way alerts and a live map

When a worker taps On my way, the customer gets an email with the link. If you allow it, a small map shows the worker's location until the visit starts. The arrival time is the worker's own estimate. Text messages are available only for customers who opt in.

Private by design

  • No customer account or password. The link is the key, so share it only with the customer.
  • Internal notes and materials never appear on the customer page.
  • Location is shown only for the assigned worker on that job, only after On my way, and never as a trail or speed.

Questions, answered

What is a contractor customer portal?

It is a page where a customer can see their job: the estimate, updates, photos, invoices and payments. A good one needs no account, so customers actually use it.

Do my customers need to create an account?

No. They open a private link. Because the link grants access, you should only send it to the customer.

Can customers pay from the portal?

Yes. Each invoice has a card or bank payment link, and the payment is matched to the invoice automatically.

Can I control which photos customers see?

Yes. Photos stay private until you share them, so you can keep working photos to yourself.

Can customers see where my crew is?

Only if you turn it on, only for the worker assigned to their job, and only after the worker taps On my way. It is not a trail and it does not show speed. You can turn the map off in settings.
